5MY and 5FA Residential

5MY and 5FA have been having a brilliant time on their residential. The pupils settled in quickly on the first day, making their beds, organising their cabins or pods, unpacking everything neatly and making sure their teddies felt at home! We have been incredibly impressed with their tidiness and personal organisational skills – the competition for the highest points in room inspections is fierce! Parents, you would be proud!

The daily programme is keeping the children really busy as they enjoy the challenges of learning new skills in activities like Archery Tag or abseiling, and building on their map reading skills in orienteering. Their team building skills are being developed in the raft building, crate stacking and Water Sports team challenge and it is a delight to see them all working together so well. We are so looking forward to the rest of our time here, our campfire this evening and to sharing all our stories when we get back to CtS tomorrow afternoon!
