Brilliant Bronze Medals

This week a selection of our Year 4 pupils headed to Greenford High School for an indoor athletics competition. As it was in an indoor setting, the events were different from the familiar events our children take part in at our school sports days, however the events all required aptitude in the key athletic skills of throwing, jumping and sprinting.

The competition began with the field events where each child participated individually to earn points for the team. These field events were then followed by the main event; the sprint races, which included relays. With a packed crowed and a great atmosphere, our CtS team rose to the occasion winning 4 out of the 6 races.

Their fantastic performance in the races meant that CtS finished 3rd and picked up the bronze medal. Coach Bilal was very proud of the whole team, how they worked together, competed extremely well and impressed the competition organisers with their positive attitudes. Well done children and thank you Coach Bilal for taking them.
