Year 3 Ancient Egyptian Day

Year 3 celebrated all their learning in their current History unit through hosting an Ancient Egyptian day. The children arrived in creative themed costumes and spent the day completing a range of activities. These included exploring the life and death of Tutankhamun; the creation of their own amulets and portraits of a pharaoh; learning and deciphering numbers to 1000 and beyond and responding to Ancient Egyptian music and dance.

It was a fantastic way for Year 3 to consolidate their learning and to thoroughly immerse themselves in the lives of the Ancient Egyptians!
