Christingle Fair

Last week was our wonderfully, festive Christingle fair. It was an event that brought the whole community together as families donated items and volunteered, our Year 6 house captains organised their house stalls, Ms McCulloch worked with the children to decorate the school beautifully and many dedicated parents were in school for the two days before preparing stalls, games, prizes and transforming a classroom into Santa’s grotto.

The bouncy castle, games and treats were as popular as ever with the children and the mulled wine and mince pies were a hit with the adults! Our school choirs from Years 4, 5 and 6 choirs sang Christmas carols to a packed hall and we then enjoyed a dance performance from the children who attend one of our after school dance clubs.

A huge thank you to the PTA who organised the whole event and to our site staff who worked incredibly hard to make it all happen. Together we raised over £9000 – amazing!
