Advent Carol Services

Our Advent Carol services, when we look forward to the coming celebrations of Jesus’ birth, have been a joy this week. The story of Jesus’ birth was told in readings and song, as Years 3 and 4 and their parents worshipped together on Monday afternoon and Years 5 and 6 and their families on Tuesday afternoon. The Advent services included anthems from all of our KS2 school choirs, as well as modern carols performed by each year group and traditional carols sung by the whole congregation. The church looked beautiful with the Christmas trees covered in lights and the Advent wreath – thank you to everyone who came, it was wonderful to worship together as a school community!
