Looking after God’s World

This term in RE Year 1 have been looking at God’s Great World, and we invited parents to come in and talk to the children about how their job helps look after our world. We had scientists, people working with AI, doctors and even people who work in government coming in to talk about what they do.

Year 1 had lots of interesting questions to ask and explored how each profession contributed to looking after our world. It was lovely to see the children linking their learning to what the volunteers were talking about. The children were able to think of examples in their own life of how they did something similar to that of the volunteers and how this helped God’s world. Thank you to all our parents who came in to share what they do – you really helped bring our RE learning to life!
