We were delighted that our drama therapist, Naomi Rogers, was able to host a parent coffee afternoon this week on the topic of: What about me? Self-Care for parents.
The session looked at normalising the difficult experiences and feelings parents can have; how to manage comparison and ‘parent guilt’ and gave plenty of tips for self care and how parents can support their own mental health and well-being so that they can be the best parents they can be to their children.
