School Vision Project: Wisdom and Educated citizens

We have really enjoyed the wonderful work that the children submitted for our School Vision Project this Autumn Term. It has been inspiring to see the children’s reflections on the themes of wisdom and being educated citizens.

Many of the projects on the theme of wisdom reflected upon the biblical stories of King Solomon and the wise words of wisdom that can be found in the  book of Proverbs. Other children used their projects to show and encourage us all to wise actions; the theme of wisdom inspired some really creative ideas, such as the jar of wisdom, the wisdom tree and the wisdom wheel which are all shown below.

Many of our Year 6 pupils made the link between wisdom and being educated citizens and so on our display we linked the two themes together, showing how we aspire to grow up to be citizens who can make responsible and wise choices about our world, the environment, democracy and our communities.
