SIAMS Inspection Reports

All Church of England dioceses and the Methodist Church use the Church of England Education Office’s framework for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) under section 48 of the Education Act 2005. SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact of the Church school’s Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school’s Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish.

We were graded “Excellent” in our Section 48 inspection on 25th November 2022

Key findings:

• The deeply Christian vision powerfully underpins everyone and everything, giving consistently shared purpose to the school’s vocation in living out its Anglican life across two sites as one school.
• Confident, comfortable and flourishing pupils with a deep understanding of their moral purpose, tangibly moulded by the inclusive Church of England education they experience.
• The transformational impact on each member of the school community, helping to overcome any barriers and changing lives for good.
• The unwavering contribution of RE to fostering all-embracing respect and natural acceptance of all people, although this level of truly valuing each other is not fully reflected in the school’s vision.
• The reciprocal relationship with the parish church which closely binds school and church together as a missional community with worship as its heartbeat.
