West London Football Finals

Our UKS2 Footballers had the honor of representing Ealing at the West London Football finals this week. They travelled to Harrow to compete against borough winners from across West London. They started well with a 3-0 win against Hammersmith and Fulham, with some great football and team work. The second game was a really tough one and despite good defending they lost 2-0. However, CtS was still in with a change to qualify with one more group game to go. The team battled really hard to get a draw from the last game against a really strong team, advancing to the quarter finals. In the quarters the boys lost to the team who went on to win the whole competition – it was a tremendous achievement to advance as far as they did in a tournament of such a high standard. What a great experience for our team to play against the most talented and skilled football players from across London. Well done!
