Ms Jolliffe took two teams of Year 5 and 6 children to netball tournaments at Ellen Wilkinson School on Friday to play against other primary schools from the borough. Both the morning and the afternoon sessions were fierce competitions with a high standard of play.

Ms Jolliffe was very impressed with how both teams adapted to the tournament rules, which were very new to them, and how their attacking and defensive skills developed through the games. She was particularly proud of the morning team’s initiative in organising themselves to practise their passing and shooting skills before the tournament started – well done! The afternoon team played particularly well and came back to school with bronze medals!
