Christ the Saviour has 12 governors. The headteacher (Mrs Tramoni) and the vicar (Father Richard Collins) are automatically governors.
The other 10 governors are nominated by one of the bodies listed here:-
London Borough of Ealing
1
London Diocesan Board for Schools
2
Parochial Church Council
3
Ealing Deanery Synod
1
Elected from school staff
1
Elected from current parents
2
Vacancies arise when a governor resigns or when their 4-year term of office finishes. A vacancy for a staff or parent governor will also arise when the governor (or their child) leaves the school.
When a vacancy arises the nominating body may put forward the same governor for a further 4 years but new candidates are also needed occasionally and welcome to apply via the appropriate appointing body. Ealing Deanery Synod, for example, may ask any governor to propose her/himself for (re)election at its regular meeting, but each body will decide in different ways.
Details of each current governor can be found on our Governors page of the school website.

All governor nominations must be confirmed by the existing governors and we are always looking for nominees whose skills add something to the existing governors. Furthermore, the role requires a level of commitment of time and energy. If you would like to discuss this informally please speak with Mrs Tramoni, Father Richard or the Chair (Mark Hedges).
