This week, the children in Year 6 have been completing their computing sessions, looking at graphic design. They have learnt all about ‘vectors’ and have created some great pieces on Google Drawings. Skills that have been learnt include, resizing, colouring, borders, rotating, duplicating, ordering and zooming.
To start with, the children were all tasked with creating a penguin. They were then instructed, using the existing shapes, to turn them into a parrot using the different skills they have learnt without deleting anything!
“I always love computing sessions and this was really fun. It was great to walk around the room and see how people created their penguins and parrots. They were all so different!”
