04 Jun Exploring the Arctic in 3D
In our recent Science workshop with Geobus, Year 6 pupils explored the Arctic and the challenges it faces due to climate change. They imagined life in the Arctic, discussing freezing temperatures and icy landscapes. Using special glasses, they experienced immersive 3D images of the region. Pupils learned about global warming, the Earth’s atmosphere and the impact of human activity, with a focus on the importance of sea ice and its melting. Throughout the workshop, they were encouraged to think independently, ask questions and share ideas, deepening their understanding of our changing world.
