06 Feb Kurling Competition
On Friday twelve children from Year 3 and Year 4 travelled to Cardinal Wiseman High School in Greenford to participate in a New-Age Kurling Competition.
It was a very apt time to be playing kurling, with Team GB doing so well in the sport at the moment at the Winter Olympics in Italy, and the children set about playing the games at the indoor event.
All of the children were soon able to roll their stones with both accuracy and power, as they took the opportunity to play against several other schools. Plenty of passion was on show, which was the school games value for the day.
The children did fantastically to learn a new sport, experience a different environment and compete fairly against other schools. Well done to all involved!
