09 Dec School Vision Project: Love and Inclusiveness
We have really enjoyed the wonderful projects that all the children submitted for our School Vision Project this Autumn Term. It has been inspiring to see the children’s reflections on the themes of love and inclusiveness.
Our younger children showered us with drawings, paintings and collages of the people in their lives who they love and who show love to them. Many children also thought about and illustrated bible verses about love.
The theme of inclusivesness resulted in a wide ranging set of projects that explored anti-racism, learning needs like dyslexia and disability and the theme of children coming to our school from all over the world. The inclusive theme inspired some beautiful art work and poetry; the acrostic poem on the theme of community by Ritsuto in Year 3 summarised many of the childrens thoughts and reflections so well:
Caring for everyone
One for all and all for one
Many kindnesses
Making smiles
Understanding differences
Not doing something bad to each other
It is inclusive community
This is our school
You are always welcome
We have created displays in school to showcase the children’s work and all the children who completed a project will recieve a certifcate in class this week. We hope you enjoy looking at some of the wonderful projects in the gallery below – thank you for all your work children!
