11 Sep New Lunch Routines
We are delighted with how quickly pupils across the school have learnt their new lunchtime routines. Our fantastic catering team have commented on how polite our pupils have been in giving thanks for the food they receive and in using clear voices to say what they would like to eat.
All classes give thanks to God for the food they eat by saying Grace before they enter the dining hall. They give thanks to the catering staff by:
- Waiting patiently for their meal
- Using “please” when requesting their meal
- Saying “thank you” when their meal is served
- Keeping a tidy area around their plate
- Communicating quietly and politely with others sitting at their table
