12 Jun Secondary transition workshops for parents
The transition to secondary school can be a worrying time for Year 6 and their parents. The Local Authority are delivering workshops for parents or carers of Year 6 students to give you some ideas of how you can support your child to manage the transition to secondary school. They will also be talking about how you can manage your own emotions about your child moving to secondary school. They will talk specifically about this transition for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at the end of the presentation.
The LA will be presenting this workshop on three different dates – see the flyer for details on how to book your place:
Tuesday 13th July 11am
Wednesday 18th Aug 4pm
Monday 13th Sept 5.30pm
