Remembering our Queen

Along with the rest of the nation, our children have had opportunities to reflect on the the life of the Queen and to give thanks to God for her during this time of national mourning. Many of our pupils have written thoughts and prayer that have been added to our display at the Broadway site and pupils from 3HN created a book of prayers. The book was taken to Windsor and laid with the flowers in front of the castle.

Examples of some of the children’s reflection and prayers are below:

“Dear God, Thank you for our Queen, I’m sure I ‘ll tell my children and grandchildren about her, Amen”

Dear God, Thank you fro the Queen and for her kindness. Bless her family, Amen.”

Dear God, Thank you for our Queen and her 70 years of service. Help us to remember her. Amen”

Dear God, Thank you for our Queen. Please let us be a good example like her, Amen.”
