Purposeful Play at Playtime

Last week, classes at the Broadway were given a brand new delivery of two labelled playground balls for each class! We know how frustrating it is to come down to play and find out that there are very few balls because they have ended up on the roof or over the wall earlier in the day.

We would really like the children to learn new games and engage in purposeful, inclusive play with the balls and so have suggested two fun games that classes might like to try with the new balls: SPUD and Straddle Ball (sometimes called Circle Ball).

We hope to have more deliveries of playground equipment for every class as the weeks go by!
