21 Nov CTS at the Natural History Museum
Last week, some of our Year 3 and Year 4 children were chosen to support the Natural History Museum in their development of a new workshop. Christ the Saviour were the first group ever to try the workshop out! It was a cross-curricular workshop that drew on knowledge and skills from goegraphy, science and Deisgn and Technology.
During the workshop, pupils used their creativity to design, build and evaluate a solution to a real-world sustainability challenge using LEGO® bricks. They also presented their ideas and findings back to the group. We were so proud of the children who worked brilliantly in teams and were very articulate in their presentations.
After the session, staff, pupils and parents were all able to feed back their ideas into the workshop design process. It was wonderful to see how seriously our students took their role in helping the museum to improve.
