04 Feb Singing at St. Paul’s Cathedral
On Thursday last week, our Year 5 choir were hugely excited to be able to be a part of the London-wide schools’ choir that sang at the LDBS School Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral. We were also delighted that some of our Year 6 worship leaders were able to attend as representatives of the school.
It was a truly special occassion; the cathedral was packed with school children and their teachers from all over London and children were involved in every aspect of the service: in the readings, the prayers, in a piece of drama and of course in both the choir and congregational singing.
A huge thank you to Mr MacMillan who led our choir and to Father Richard who took the worship leaders. It was an inspiring occassion of worship – in the most magnificent of settings. What wonderful memories were created!
