Table Tennis Fun

This spring term the arrival of four new table tennis tables has created great excitement at lunchtimes at the Broadway site. All of the children in Years 3 – 6 get the opportunity to play once a week if they would like to. There are many challenges in taking up table tennis: learning to hold the table tennis bat correctly, guaging the bounce of the light ping pong ball correctly and of course working out how to make sure your shots actually hit the table! Whether playing cooperatively or competitively, this new addition to our lunch time sports is proving to be very popular with all our children.
