A group of Year 5 children were lucky enough to visit the Bayeux tapestry at the British Museum, learning all about 1066 and the Battle of Hastings. The children enjoyed looking carefully at the 70m long embroidered history source that shows the events leading up to the Norman Conquest. Normally displayed in France the tapestry is on display in the UK for a short time and tickets are sold out.
