12 Oct Friendship Art Competition
A huge well done to everyone who entered our art competition on the theme of friendship. The throughfulness and creativity that went into the entries made us proud; some pieces of art were inspired by the children’s own experience of friendship; other art works were inspired by the bible’s words of wisdom and many of the art pieces were acts of collaboration between friends themselves. It was wonderful to see the theme of diversity coming through in so much of the art work and a to see the range of media used from collage, to pencil drawing, to origami and textile work.
Do enjoy the gallery below which show cases just some of the pieces of art – they are also displayed in school so that they can be enjoyed by the whole community. With such a wonderful range of talent on display picking the winners was a difficult job! A big thank you to Ms McCulloch our art teacher, for taking on that task – a list of all the winners is published beneath the gallery.
