05 May Key Stage 2 visit Ealing Book Festival

Pupils in Key Stage 2 have attended events organised for schools by Ealing Book Festival at the University of West London. Year 5 and 6 went to hear Farhana Islem speak about her books eg The Misadventures of Mina Mahmood. Year 3 and 4 children heard a relative of Emmeline Pankhurst , Kate Pankhurst talk about her life as an illustrator and author of books such as Great Women who Changed the World.
These were very inspiring sessions for our budding illustrators and authors.
