London Youth Games

We have a lot to celebrate this term with our Year 6 sporting successes.

Four of our Year 6s who represented the school at our local Willow Tree cross country event back in October were selected to represent Ealing at the London Youth Games at Primrose Hill on Saturday 18th November.

It was a huge competition with hundreds of children from all over London competing. In the Under 11s boys race 224 pupils ran   – we are delighted to say that our CtS boys placed 7th, 59th and 105th in this highly competitive race. In the U11 girls race there were 198 participants and our CtS representative did increadibly well to place 79th.

The strong performances of the CtS team contributed to the overall borough team score and helped the Ealing Team to finish in 4th place for girls and 5th place for boys! A fantastic achievement given that over 25 London Boroughs took part.

At CtS we encourage them and all our children to keep developing their individual talents, both in school, outside of school and next year at high school – the PE Team are delighted that some of our children have now joined a running club!
