20 Mar National Art Competition
If you are looking for an Easter holiday activity why don’t you create some art for the NATRE (National Association of Teachers of RE) Art Competition?
The NATRE competition theme that our school is focusing on this year is ‘Sacred Spaces‘ and it encourages us to think about the spaces and places where we draw close to God. Where do you sense God’s presence? Where do you feel awe and wonder? Where do you go to reflect on the big questions of life?
Children from Nursery through to Year 6 are invited to explore the theme of ‘Sacred Spaces’ through any art form: painting, drawing, poetry, sculpture, collage, digital art, music or photography. Entries can be individual or collaborative. Children should bring their entries into school by Friday 17th April, making sure they are labelled with their names and class. If you want inspiration you can see some of the National winners from last year’s competition here: 2025 NATRE Art Winners
We look forward to creating displays in school and to choosing the 10 best entries to represent the school in the national competition.
