Reception go to Perivale Woods

During this half term, Reception has been learning all about minibeasts and for their school trip they went on a visit to Perivale woods.

The children really enjoyed all the activities that took place throughout the day. They loved hunting for different minibeasts in the woods, exploring the habitats and creating traps for the Wizard Lizard from the story ‘Superworm’. They also got to take part in pond dipping where we learnt all about the minibeast that live in and near the water.

We all had a really lovely time and would like to thank all the parents that volunteered to help in order to make this trip happen.
