Super Sandwiches in Year 3

In Design and Technology, Year 3 have been exploring healthy diets and the different food groups that we require. The children completed a tasting test of a range of ingredients to begin with. They then explored what makes a balanced diet and designed their own healthy sandwich. The following week, the children brought in ingredients and constructed their sandwich following their plans step by step. Finally, everyone enjoyed having a taste of their sandwiches and sharing their evaluations with the class.
