08 Jul Year 2 visit Bocketts Farm
Year 2 enjoyed an exciting, hands-on trip to Bocketts Farm! The visit brought our science topic on animals and their habitats to life, giving the children a chance to see how different animals live, grow, and adapt to their environments.
Children spent time in the animal discovery barn where they met cows, sheep, alpacas and horses. The baby alpaca was particularly cute! We also enjoyed a scenic, although a little bumpy, tractor ride where we saw some of the larger farm animals in their fields and also had a lovely view of the London skyline.
A highlight of the day was the pig race, children cheered for the pig they wanted to win and waved flags in support as the pigs raced around the track.
The Year 2 teachers were incredibly proud of how well the children represented our school, asking brilliant questions and showing great care for the animals.
A massive thank you to all our wonderful parent volunteers who helped make this fantastic trip possible!
