Year 3 Easter Event

We were delighted to welcome so many parents to our Year 3 Easter Event this afternoon, both halls were filled with daffodils, creativity and joyful singing!

Each of the Year 3 classes performed a different Easter song; 3AK sang ‘Thank you for loving me’, 3HU sang ‘Risen’, 3JK sang ‘Celebrate’ and 3LS sang the Easter blessing song ‘He is Risen’. Thank you children for sharing the Easter story and the joy of the risen Jesus with us through your songs and your actions.

Everyone then learned about the art of quilling from Ms McCulluch – quilling is an art form that uses strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative patterns. The children worked together with their adults to create a wonderful egg decorated with paper quilling and the afternoon ended with everyone enjoying some delicious Easter biscuits.
