Coronation Celebrations

We all had a wonderful time on Friday afternoon celebrating the coronation of King Charles III. Everyone enjoyed coming to school in their party clothes to mark the special occassion. From EYFS all the way up to Year 6, pupils enjoyed learning about our new King and taking part in coronation activities such as designing flags, stamps and coins for the new King, and making bunting and crowns.

Collaborative coronation colouring projects were popular – this is an activity where everyone in the class colours a piece of a bigger picture and then they are all pieced together to form one big picture. You can see Year 5s wonderful collaborative colouring projects below – well done Year 5!

The day was finished off with a piece of Coronation cake for everyone – a big thank you to our catering team for baking such a delicious treat!
