Goldilocks in the Dock

Year 5 were delighted to welcome Julian Norman into school over two days as part of our Citizenship learning in PSHE. Julian is a barrister who also works as a judge; she very kindly came into school to talk to the children about how the court runs and about the justice system.

The children then carried out their own court case about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Some very compelling defence was given, fantastic evidence and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you so much, Julian for coming in and giving the children such a great few days and for teaching us all about the ins and outs of the court room.
