New CtS House Captains!

We may be in bubbles and unable to travel between sites or see our friends in different classes; however, that has not stopped the children at Christ the Saviour taking an active interest in democracy as part of this year’s House Captain Elections.

At the start of term, Year 6 were asked to prepare a short video speech in order to be considered for House Captain. We ended up with 30 incredible candidates and some very special videos and speeches.

Every day last week, children from Year 1 – 6 viewed each house’s electoral reel. Voters then chose two candidates whose speech impressed them. These votes were counted and winners announced during Friday’s online Celebration Assembly.

We were so proud to receive every speech from every child – the time and effort which went into every video was astounding. It was a true pleasure for us to see so many aspirational learners upholding our school vision and eager to share their special gifts with the wider school community.
