Year 3 Create Cartoons

On Wednesday, 23rd November, Year 3 had the pleasure of welcoming an artist, Sarah Akinterinwa, who led an assembly and workshops on how to be a cartoonist. Year 3 learned all about Sarah’s career and how her love for art started very young when she was at school. The children analysed her cartoons which explore the themes of disablity and inclusion. Sarah then led class sessions where the children were supported in creating their own cartoon characters step by step. The children were very proud of their creations –  thank you so much Sarah for inspiring Year 3!
