Inspired by an Author

The Year 5 children were fortunate enough to have a Zoom workshop with the author, Sharna Jackson. Sharna Jackson wrote High Rise Mystery which was the book studied in Year 5 during Summer 1. The children were able to learn the tricks of the trade regarding story writing, in particular, murder mysteries! The children were then given a series of short scenarios in which they needed to figure out who did the crime. Finally, they were able to ask questions to Sharna about her different books and what inspired her to write. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop!
