Global Learning: Shichi Go San

In our Global Learning this term, we have been learning about the Japanese festival of Shichi Go San. Thank you so much to all the families across the school who have sent wonderful pictures of their children for us to share. Thank you also to the children who have talked to the class and shared their experiences.

Yuna in 5HN said: “I liked showing my pictures to the class and everyone saying thank you to me. It is good for everyone to know about this festival because normally in England they don’t know about other country’s celebrations. It is important to everyone that this school talks about all our festivals so we all feel together.”

Kotaro in 5JN said: “I felt really proud talking to the class about Shichi-Go-San. It was good to see all the photos. I think every mum or dad probably thought their own child was cutest.”
