Friday’s Football Tournament

Last Friday twelve children from Year 5 and 6 travelled to Gunnersbury Park to take part in the Advanced Football competition.

There were 12 schools competing, in two groups of six, and the CtS team set about their five group games with great enthusiasm. The CtS team managed to score plenty of goals; they won three of their games and worked hard to win the ball back and to be positive in possession. Whilst the team did not make it through the group stages to the finals, it was a great team peformance against strong opposition.
