Year 6’s Amazing Aladdin

This week the school is awash with the magic and mystery of Agrabah as the street rat Aladdin seeks to defeat the evil Jafar and win the hand of Princess Jasmine in our Year 6 performances! Year 6 have been rehearsing for over six weeks, learning lines, lyrics and well choreographed dance moves to put together a wonderful production that really show cases their talents.

It has been a delight to watch Year 6’s confidence grow during the weeks of rehearsals as they have discovered their gifts and worked together as a class. The show has everything – inspiring solo performances and great whole cast numbers, a fantastic set and backdrop and evocative costumes, fabulous one liners from Iago the parrot and dastardly plotting from Jafar. We are so proud of what you have achieved Year 6 and we are loving sharing your performances with the wider school community and your family and friends this week.
