21 Feb British Science Week Challenge
Thank you to everyone who completed our British Science Week Challenge on the topic of ‘time’ over half term. It was amazing to see so many entries from Nursery through to Year 6; the variety of countries which children focused on was so inspiring!
Did you know that when it is 9am in London children in Greece are just having their morning break at school as it is 11am? In Iran they are eating their lunch and in South Korea they are eating their evening meal! However, in Canada and America, when it is 9am in the Uk, they have not even started their day yet and all the children are still in bed asleep!
Other countries that featured in the children’s work included Estonia, Hungary, Australia, Japan, Armenia, Mexico and Cyprus, to name but a few. It was lovely to see so many of the children including their own family and friends who live overseas in their pictures. Do enjoy looking at some of the examples of the childrens’ work below:
