02 Apr 6RH and 6SK Residential
An unexpected excitement that added to the thrill of our second Year 6 residential were the snow showers that kept surprising us throughout the day on Thursday – obstacle courses, low ropes and sensory trails were made all the more exciting with the onset of small blizzards!
Despite the cold weather, 6SK and 6RH seemed to have a wonderful time: there was great team work as they worked together to scale the ‘Jacob’s ladder’, to hoist one another up on the giant swing or to successfully hide in the dark woods as a team to prevent being ‘ambushed.’ Pupils has plenty of opportuities to develop new skills, including archery and orienteering, and these two classes also displayed some impressive personal organisation skills – the tidiness of their rooms during room inspection was quite frankly exceptional!
We look forward to Miss Goodman announcing the winners of the room points competition when we return after the Easter holidays! Well done 6SK and 6RH – we are so proud of all you achieved this week.
