All Year 4 classes visited St Albans to support their history topic of the Romans. Children enjoyed an Artefact workshop, exploring objects from Roman times, and discovering what daily life was like in the Roman town of Verulamium . They learned about the archaeologists who undertook the original excavations in St Albans. Pupils also visited the museum and the ruins of the Roman theatre, and the forum – looking at the architecture and imagining what life would have looked like all those years ago.
