Year 5 Sports Day

What a gloriously sunny day it was on Tuesday as Year 5 headed to the track for their Sports Day! Year 5 had a wonderful day of track and field events as all pupils were given the opportunity to display the talents and skills they have been developing in their PE lessons this term.

When it came to presenting the certificates and medals back at school at the end of the day real strengths could be seen in indiviudal classes, all the 800m girls medals went to 5AK and lots of long jump medals, including both boys’ and girls’ gold, went to 5SD. 5MG showed great team work by winning two of the relay medals whilst the 5OC girls showed a great talent for the shot put.
