Year 3 Sports Day

Althought the sky was overcast and there was an occasional spatter of rain, nothing could dampen down the competitive spirit at Year 3 Sports Day this week! Year 3 really enjoyed there first time at Perivale track, taking huge delight in trying out the long jump pits, tackling the high jump apparatus for the first time and facing the challenge of running in their lanes.

It was a wonderful morning of sport with some fierce competition, particularly in the 800m and the high jump. The children did a fantastic job of cheering each other on and the year group medals were spread every evenly across the classes – apart from in the sprints and the relay where 3JK claimed most of them. 3JK you seem to be the fastest class in Year 3!
