Fantastic Fruit

In Design and Technology this week Year 1 have been learning about fruit salads. They have been talking about how they keep themselves healthy and safe and the importance of eating fruit and vegetables. Year 1 then had the opportunity to plan and create their own fruit salad. They impressed their teachers when they spoke about practising hygiene and health and safety rules when dealing with food and cutlery. Year 1 were able to show their safe cutting skills and chose a variety of fruits to put in their fruit salads. Everyone then enjoyed eating them with their friends!
