Year 3 at the Synagogue

Year 3 have really been enjoying learning about different Jewish festivals in their RE lessons this half term. It was a privilege to be welcomed on a visit to the local Ealing synagogue to learn more about the Jewish faith and what Jewish people believe.

Seeing the place where Jewish people worship, the prayer shawls, Torah scrolls, Menorah, Hebrew writing and recognising the Star of David really brought the classroom learning to life. Year 3 particularly enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions about Judaism and have them answered by an expert!
