Festivals and Celebrations

During this half term, Reception has been learning all about festivals and celebrations. The children were so excited and engaged by our parent visitors who came in to share their celebrations of Diwali and Hanukkah.

We also looked at the festival of Harvest where we learnt about the importance of sharing and giving to others.It was great to see so many contributions of food that children had brought in from home; the Ealing food bank was very grateful.

We would also like to say a big well done to all the children for a fantastic Nativity performance, which helped us all to celebrate Christmas – you were all amazing!
