Advent Carols

This week we enjoyed two wonderful Advent Carol Services as we met in the church to celebrate the coming of Jesus. Joined by many parents, Years 3 and 4 gathered on Monday afternoon and Years 5 and 6 on Tuesday afternoon.

In the Tuesday Advent Carol Service we were particularly pleased to have pupils from the Khalsa Primary School in Southall come and join us to learn about our Christmas traditions.

Ours choirs led the singing, whilst our worship leaders took us through the series of bible readings to retell the story of Jesus birth and the visits of the shepherds and the wise men. The church looked beautiful, decorated with many candles and two beautifully lit Christmas trees – it was an occassion truly filled with the peace and joy that the Christ child brings.
