17 Mar British Science Week Competition
We were delighted with all the entries for the British Science Week Competition on the theme of ‘Change and Adapt’. There was a wonderful variety of topics from the changing seasons, to the adaptations of sloths and snakes, from looking at changing glaciers, the development of AI and changing flu vaccines to the life cycle of a caterpillar.
As well as the impressive scientific knowledge on display there was a rich display of colour and creativity; collage, watercolours, cartoon and mixed media were all used with great effect to communicate the messages of change and adaptation.
Well done to everyone who entered – we so enjoyed seeing your posters and we have been able to create lovely displays on both sites. Congratulations to the five pupils below whose posters were chosen to represent CtS in the national competition:
- David (2RS)
- Hannah S (4MY)
- Olivia G (4NM
- Ramola (5WK)
- Eloise (6IR)
